Dr. Tariq Khan was born in Muzaffarnagar (U.P.) but raised in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). He has obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Meerut College, Meerut (C.C.S. University), a Master of Arts, and a PhD in History from the Centre of Advanced Study, Department of History, A.M.U. Aligarh. He has also participated in various National and International seminars and has published several research papers in reputed journals and edited books. He wrote a book entitled ‘Sufi Saints and Their Contribution’ and cleared UGC NET in History. He started teaching in 2014 at J.V.W. University, Jaipur- Rajasthan. After that, he taught at Bhagini Nivedita College of the University of Delhi for a year. Dr. Tariq Khan has been teaching in the Department of History at Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening) from 2016 onwards.
