Shahla Tabassum did herICSSR Post Doctorate from JawaharlalNehru University. She completed her M.A and Ph.D from the Departmentof Political Science, Jamia MilliaIslamia. She did her Graduation from AligarhMuslim University. She hascontributed more than 30 Articles in national and international journals,magazines and edited books; along with two books authored by her.She was involved in the Writingand Development of Self Learning Material for P.G Course, Centre for Distance and Open Learning,Jamia Millia Islamia.

Apartfrom that, she attended various International/National seminars, conferences,workshops & presented more than 35 papers on different topics. Shehas in her credit one ICSSR Major Research Project. She is a Life member ofvarious professional bodies/associations. Her area of interests is Higher Education, AdministrativeTheory and Feminism.

Presently,working as an Assistant Professor in the Department ofPolitical Science, Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening, University of Delhi. Before that she was involved in teaching at JamiaMillia Islamia, School of Open Learning (DU) and IGNOU. She has more than 11years of Teaching and ResearchExperiences.
