Munshi Md.Younus is working as a Professor in the department of Bengali,Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening. He has completed his higher education fromJadavpur University, West Bengal and achieved his Ph.D. degree from the same.In his 20 years of working career, Prof.Younus delivered more than 50 invitedlectures in various National/International Seminars. There are 20 articles and12 chapters published in different journals and books in his name. His researchinterest lies in Medieval Bengali Literature,19th Century Bengaliliterature, Contemporary literary theories, Bengali narrative and Poetry,Abanindranath Tagore. Till date, he has authored 12 books. As a supervisor,Prof. Younus has successfully guided 07 Ph.D. scholars. Apart from regularcollege duties, he has worked with University of Delhi, Pondicherry University,Aligarh Muslim University, NCERT and MHRD in different capacities. Prof. Younusis a well-known poet and short story writer in Bengali language. He hasreceived 04 literary awards
